Rosi Kerr

Assistant Novice Girls Coach

Rosi started rowing on the Charles River in Boston when she was too little to carry a wooden oar by herself. She went on to row on the USA Junior Team and then at Dartmouth, where she helped bring home two Eastern Sprints Medals and a top ten NCAA finish. Rosi was the captain her senior year at Dartmouth.

After college, Rosi coached at Greenlake in Seattle, Deerfield Academy and returned to Dartmouth as the Novice Women’s coach. She coached for three years at Dartmouth, reveling in the success of her athletes and their development as people, and learning as much as she could.

Rosi then led the Novice Women at Boston University, and rowed at Riverside, before leaving coaching to go to graduate school at Yale University. While working on a degree in Environmental Science, Rosi joined the masters rowing ranks, representing New Haven Rowing Club at Masters Nationals. When she moved to Hanover in 2010, Rosi joined the Upper Valley Rowing Club where she proudly raced with both sweeps and sculls.

When not rowing Rosi can be found working in the Dartmouth Office of Sustainability, tooling around the Upper Valley with her awesome partner, their dogs and their three girls, or feeding her chickens.
